Lifetime Warranty — Jewelry

ÉTINCELLE offers a Lifetime Jewelry Warranty to cover verified manufacturing defects under normal, intended use. This warranty is provided in addition to — and does not replace — our Refund Policy.

What Is Covered

The Lifetime Jewelry Warranty applies only to ÉTINCELLE jewelry purchased directly from www.etincelleofficial.com and covers:

  • Tarnishing or fading caused by material failure
  • Manufacturing defects present at the time of delivery, which you should email us about within 24hrs of order delivery

  • Structural failure solely resulting from a manufacturing defect

Warranty coverage is subject to inspection and approval by ÉTINCELLE.

What Is Not Covered

To prevent misuse and ensure fairness, the Lifetime Jewelry Warranty does not cover:

  • Items that are lost, stolen, or not in the customer’s possession
  • Cosmetic wear, scratches, dents, or surface marks caused by normal use
  • Damage caused by accidents, improper handling, force, or misuse
  • Damage resulting from resizing, bending, stretching, or unauthorized adjustments
  • Breakage or deformation not caused by a verified manufacturing defect
  • Intentional damage or damage caused by third parties

  • Items returned without prior written authorization

Design characteristics — including intentional asymmetry, organic shapes, or natural curvature — are not considered defects and are not eligible for warranty claims.

Replacement & Credit Policy

If a warranty claim is approved:

  • ÉTINCELLE may issue one complimentary replacement per item
  • After a replacement has been provided, any further resolution will be issued as store credit

  • Store credit is valid for 12 months and is non-transferable

Refunds to the original payment method are not offered unless required by law.

Warranty — Watches

Standard Watch Warranty (Included)

All ÉTINCELLE watches include a 2-year standard warranty from the date of purchase.

Covered:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Movement, hands, and dial defects

  • Internal malfunction not caused by misuse

Not covered:

  • Accidental damage or impact
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications
  • Normal wear (scratches, strap wear, discoloration)

  • Batteries, straps, or accessories

Lifetime Watch Warranty (Optional)

An optional Lifetime Watch Warranty may be purchased at checkout or within 30 days of purchase.

This warranty extends the same coverage as the standard warranty for the lifetime of the watch, subject to the same exclusions.

  • One replacement per watch is included

  • After a replacement, resolution will be issued as store credit

Claim Process & Verification

To submit a warranty claim, customers must email info@etincelleofficial.com with:

  • Order number
  • Clear photos of the item

  • Additional documentation if requested

For quality assurance and fraud prevention, every ÉTINCELLE order is video recorded during the packing process.
This footage, along with product specifications, website imagery, and correspondence history, may be used to evaluate claims.

ÉTINCELLE reserves the right to:

  • Approve or deny claims at its sole discretion
  • Request return of the item for inspection

  • Issue replacement or store credit instead of repair

Relationship to Refund Policy

Warranty claims do not override ÉTINCELLE’s Refund Policy.
Refunds to the original payment method are not offered unless required by law.

Chargebacks & Disputes

Filing a chargeback for an order that has been delivered or is under an active warranty or return review constitutes misuse of the dispute process.

In the event of a payment dispute, ÉTINCELLE reserves the right to submit:

  • Delivery confirmation
  • Product descriptions and imagery
  • Packing video footage
  • Customer correspondence

  • Warranty and refund policy acknowledgments

Fair Use & Abuse Prevention

Our Lifetime Warranty is designed to protect against genuine manufacturing issues and ensure long-term satisfaction. To maintain fairness for all customers, ÉTINCELLE reserves the right to limit or deny warranty claims in cases of repeated claims, misuse, or behavior inconsistent with normal personal use. This includes excessive replacements, contradictory claims, or attempts to bypass our policies through disputes or chargebacks.
