ÉTINCELLE offers a 6-Month Manufacturing Guarantee covering verified defects in materials or workmanship under normal, intended personal use. This guarantee is provided in addition to — and does not replace — our Refund Policy.

What Is Covered

The 6-Month Manufacturing Guarantee applies only to ÉTINCELLE jewelry purchased directly from www.etincelleofficial.com and covers verified manufacturing defects reported within 6 months of delivery, including:

• Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship
• Structural failure solely resulting from a verified manufacturing defect
• Abnormal tarnishing, fading, or discoloration caused by a verified manufacturing defect (and not by normal wear or external factors)
• Manufacturing defects present upon delivery, which must be reported within 24 hours of confirmed delivery

All claims are subject to inspection and approval by ÉTINCELLE.

What Is Not Covered

To prevent misuse and ensure fairness, the 6-Month Manufacturing Guarantee does not cover:

• Items that are lost, stolen, or no longer in the customer's possession
• Normal wear and tear, including scratches, dents, surface marks, minor fading, or cosmetic aging
• Damage caused by accidents, improper handling, excessive force, misuse, neglect, or improper storage
• Damage resulting from bending, stretching, resizing, unauthorized repairs, or other modifications
• Breakage, deformation, or clasp failure not caused by a verified manufacturing defect
• Damage caused by chemicals, perfumes, lotions, cosmetics, cleaning products, swimming pools, hot tubs, seawater, or other environmental exposure
• Intentional damage or damage caused by third parties
• Items returned without prior written authorization
• Claims where the original item cannot be returned for inspection

Design characteristics—including intentional asymmetry, organic shapes, natural curvature, and handcrafted variations—are not considered manufacturing defects.

Resolution

If a claim is approved, ÉTINCELLE will determine the appropriate resolution at its sole discretion. This may include:

• Repair of the item
• Replacement of the defective component (where applicable)
• Replacement with the same item or, if unavailable, a comparable item
• Store credit

Customers are responsible for shipping costs associated with warranty claims unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Refunds to the original payment method are not available under this Manufacturing Guarantee unless required by law.

Warranty — Watches

Standard Watch Warranty (Included)

All ÉTINCELLE watches include a 6-month standard warranty from the date of purchase.

Covered:

• Manufacturing defects
• Movement, hands, and dial defects
• Internal mechanical malfunction not caused by misuse

Not Covered:

• Accidental damage or impact
• Unauthorized repairs or modifications
• Normal wear, including scratches, strap wear, or discoloration
• Batteries, straps, crystals, or accessories

 

Claim Process & Verification

To submit a Manufacturing Guarantee claim, customers must email info@etincelleofficial.com with:

• Order number
• Clear photographs of the item
• Additional documentation if requested

ÉTINCELLE may require the item to be returned for inspection before a claim is approved.

For quality assurance and fraud prevention, every ÉTINCELLE order is video recorded during the packing process. This footage, together with product specifications, website imagery, correspondence history, shipping records, and inspection findings, may be used to evaluate warranty claims.

ÉTINCELLE reserves the right to:

• Approve or deny any claim at its sole discretion
• Request return of the original item for inspection
• Repair the item
• Replace the item or defective component
• Provide a comparable replacement if the original product is unavailable
• Issue store credit where appropriate

Relationship to Refund Policy

This Manufacturing Guarantee does not replace or extend ÉTINCELLE's Refund Policy.

Refunds to the original payment method are not available under this Manufacturing Guarantee unless required by applicable law.

Chargebacks & Disputes

Filing a chargeback for an order that has been delivered or while a return, refund, or warranty claim is actively being reviewed may constitute misuse of the payment dispute process.

In the event of a payment dispute, ÉTINCELLE reserves the right to submit evidence including:

• Delivery confirmation
• Product descriptions and website imagery
• Packing video footage
• Customer correspondence
• Order history
• Warranty and Refund Policy acknowledgements

Fair Use & Abuse Prevention

This Manufacturing Guarantee is intended solely to address genuine manufacturing defects.

ÉTINCELLE reserves the right to deny or limit claims where there is evidence of misuse, fraud, excessive or repetitive claims, contradictory information, commercial use, policy abuse, or attempts to circumvent our policies through payment disputes or chargebacks.
